Big Chef

If you are around the Booth Market in Sector 20-D of Chandigarh, you can find us at Booth number 35. Big Chef is right opposite the community centre, so it's a central little spot for the local residents. We aren't a big restaurant with dozens of waiters. It is a booth, so space is tight, but we make it work. Most of our customers are people who live or work nearby in Sector 20. We focus on getting orders out quickly because people are usually on their lunch break or heading home after a long shift. The inner road here can get a bit congested with parked cars, but that’s just how Chandigarh is sometimes. We don't have a glossy brochure or a mission statement. We just show up every morning, prep the kitchen, and start cooking. It’s a simple life. We try to keep our prices where they make sense for regular people. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit tough, like when it’s too hot or raining hard, but we stay open. It's just a local booth serving food to the neighborhood. We appreciate the people who stop by every day to say hello and grab a meal. It's a small operation, but we are proud of it. We keep our counters wiped and our stove hot for whoever comes by next.
