Feeling Hungry

So, we are located at Shop No. 18 in the main market of Sector 48. If you are looking for the SBI ATM around here, we are basically right next to it. Chandigarh is a planned city, but this market has its own kind of rhythm that feels very local. Feeling Hungry isn’t a name we thought about for weeks; it just seemed to describe why anyone would come to us. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a bit, and it gets cramped when everyone shows up at the same time. The morning starts with us cleaning the counters and getting the supplies delivered. It’s just me and a couple of others working the shifts. We see students, shopkeepers, and people living nearby stopping by for a quick snack or a drink. Sometimes the power goes out or the market gets too crowded, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Chandigarh. We just want to make sure that when someone walks in, they get what they asked for without a long wait. It’s a basic shop in a busy market. We keep the floor swept and the food ready. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but that’s just how it is in this business. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop to chat while they wait. The location is convenient for anyone doing their daily shopping in Sector 48.
