We are Jattana Restaurants & Motels PVT LTD, located in Sector 17c in Chandigarh. Our address is SCO 96-97, which is right in the heart of the main commercial area. If you know Chandigarh, you know that Sector 17 is where everyone goes for shopping and business. The buildings here are all that specific SCO style, and we have a couple of units put together. Managing both the restaurant side and the motel side keeps us on our feet all day long. We have people checking in at odd hours, so someone is usually around to hand over the keys. The restaurant gets a good mix of office workers during the day and travelers staying with us. We don’t use any fancy management tricks, just a notebook and some hard work. The courtyard outside is all concrete, like the rest of the sector, and we try to keep our bit of it clean. The staff is just a group of regular people who know how to get things done. We have rooms to clean, laundry to handle, and food to prep every single morning. It gets busy during the holidays when people visit Chandigarh, but we just take it one day at a time. Sector 17c has a lot of rules about how things should look, so we try to follow those. It’s a big responsibility running a motel and a restaurant together, but we’ve been at it for a while now.
