Himani's Vertigo Lounge

We've been at the basement spot near the ICICI Bank in Sector 35 for a while now. It's Himani's Vertigo Lounge, right in Sri Vinayaka Layout. Most folks find us easily because of the bank nearby. Being in the basement keeps things a bit cooler, which is nice when it's hot outside in Krishnarajpuram. We just keep things running day to day. Sometimes it gets busy, other times it's quiet enough to actually hear yourself think. We aren't fancy or anything, just a spot to hang out. The address is 469-470, so we have a bit of space down here. We've seen a lot of neighbors come and go over the years. It's mostly locals who drop by after work or on the weekends. Dealing with the 160022 area traffic can be a headache, but once you're inside, it’s alright. We don't spend much time on decorations or flashy signs. It is what it is. A few of us have been working here since the start. We know the regulars by name and what they usually like. If you are walking around Sri Vinayaka Layout, you'll probably see our sign by the stairs. We try to keep the place tidy, though it's an old building. It’s just a normal lounge for people in the neighborhood. Nothing more to it. We open the doors in the morning and close up when the last person leaves. It's been our routine for years. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We just offer a place to sit.
