Gulab Since 1912

The name says since 1912, which is a really long time if you think about it. We have seen Chandigarh change quite a bit from this spot in Sector 35b. Sco-33940 is easy to spot if you are looking for the Axis Bank, we are right near it. My family has been doing this for generations, passing down the work from father to son. It’s not always easy keeping a place running for over a century, but we just keep showing up. The morning air in Chandigarh is usually nice before the traffic picks up on the main roads. We spend a lot of time just prepping things in the back before the first customers show up around mid-morning. It's a familiar routine that hasn't changed much even as the city around us gets more modern. The floors are a bit worn down from all the feet walking over them for years. We don't really bother with big advertisements or anything fancy like that. Most people know us by word of mouth or because their parents used to bring them here when they were little. It feels good to see the same families coming back year after year. Sector 35b has its own vibe, and we are just a small part of that local history. We try to keep things simple and honest, just like it was back in the day. There's always something to fix or clean, but that is just how it goes with an old place.
