Fouji Sweets & Dhaba

Mani Majra is a place with its own character, quite different from the rest of Chandigarh. We are located at Shop Number 2228 in Mariwala Town. If you know where Shivalik Park Road is, you know we aren't too far from there. Our days are mostly about the sweets and the food we prep starting before the sun is even fully up. The kitchen is the heart of everything we do here. It is a bit messy sometimes when things are busy, but that is just how a real kitchen works. We have regulars who have been coming to us for years, ever since they were kids. Now they bring their own children. We don't have a marketing team or a social media manager. We just have our hands and the ingredients we get every morning. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, and we just deal with it like everyone else in the neighborhood. Mariwala Town is a tight-knit area, and being a sweets shop and a dhaba means we are part of the daily rhythm. You see the same faces every morning for tea or in the evening for dinner. We don't try to be something we are not. There are no fancy decorations or expensive menus here. Just a simple shop where the fire is always going and the food is always being made. It is a bit of a grind, but we are used to it and wouldn't change it.
