Crazy Chicken

We’ve been running this place at SCF - 281 in Mani Majra for a while now. It’s right near the State Bank of India in the Motor Market area. Chandigarh is a nice city, but our corner is more about work and fixing cars. Most of our customers come from the garages nearby or are people stopping by while they get their vehicles sorted out. It’s a lot of guys in greasy overalls looking for a heavy lunch. We focus on chicken because that’s what people around here seem to want the most. The kitchen isn't very big, but we manage to get things done. It smells like spices and roasted meat most of the afternoon. We don’t have a lot of room for people to lounge around, but we have enough chairs for a decent meal. It’s a bit of a loud neighborhood with all the horns and tools, so it’s never a silent meal here. We keep the fridge stocked and the counters wiped down. We don’t use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook the chicken, serve it up, and make sure the change is right. It’s just us working hard in Mani Majra. Some days are long, especially when the market is busy, but we don’t mind the work. It’s a good spot to be in, and we’re glad to be part of the local scene here near the bank.
