Trinetra Arts

Trinetra Arts is right on the Main Bazar in Pahar Ganj, at house number 4363. If you’ve ever walked through Pahar Ganj, you know how wild it can be. There are tourists, cows, rickshaws, and vendors all squeezed into the same street. Our shop is right in the middle of that energy. We have been here for years, selling all sorts of art pieces, statues, and little trinkets that travelers like to pick up. The shop is small and the walls are covered from floor to ceiling with stuff. We often have to use a ladder to reach things for people. It’s always a bit dusty because of the wind blowing through the bazar, so we are constantly cleaning. We sit on small stools near the front so we can watch the street and talk to anyone who stops to look at the window. We don't have a fixed price list for everything; we just remember what things cost as we go. The back of the shop is where we keep the extra stock, and it’s a bit of a maze back there. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout to be heard, but that is just Pahar Ganj life. We don't try to be fancy. It’s just a place where we keep the things we like and hope other people like them too. We stay open late because the bazar never really sleeps.
