Anika Art Centre

We are located at 2/30, Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. This part of the city is always crowded with people looking for books or stationary, and our art centre is right in the middle of all that chaos. The building we are in is quite old, with high ceilings that make it feel a bit bigger than it actually is. We have got stacks of canvases and frames leaning against the walls, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit down. Anika Art Centre is not a fancy gallery. It is more of a working space where things actually get made. We spend our days dealing with supplies and helping people with their projects. The dust from the street always seems to find its way inside, so we are constantly dusting things off. There is no big marketing team here, just a few of us who know a bit about art and like being around it. We do not have a polished website or anything like that. Most people just walk in off Ansari Road because they saw our door open. It is a very traditional way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We just take each day as it comes and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door.
