Grace Art Process

Our shop is number 3032 on Sir Sayed Ahmed Road, right in the heart of Darya Ganj. We are very close to the Sabzi Mandi, so the whole area is always full of life, noise, and people moving around with carts. It’s an old part of the city and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We do art process work, which involves a lot of technical steps that most people don't really see. The shop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment packed into a small space, but we make it work. Sometimes the smell of the ink and the chemicals is pretty strong, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a big sign out front, just the shop number on the door. People usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them we could handle a specific job. It’s not a fancy studio with air conditioning and soft chairs. It’s a working shop where things get messy and the floors are stained. We spend our days hunched over machines or checking plates. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the bustle of Darya Ganj. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting outside while we work. It’s just how it is here, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It feels real and grounded in the neighborhood.
