Sandesh Arts

Sandesh Arts has been situated at 16 Bunglow Road for quite some time now. Kamla Nagar is a very lively area, and being right on Bunglow Road means there’s always a lot of foot traffic passing by the window. Our place isn't very large, but it’s packed with different pieces of art and various frames. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the wood we work with in the back. We spend our days measuring things out and making sure the glass fits just right. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually a bit stained from the materials we use. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor down the street. The shop feels a bit old-fashioned, but that’s just how we like it. We have a couple of wooden benches where we do all the assembly work. Sometimes the radio is playing in the background, but mostly it’s just the sound of us working with the tools. We aren't trying to be the most famous gallery in the city. We just want to do a decent job with the items people bring to us to frame. Kamla Nagar has changed a lot over the years with new shops, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by. It’s a simple way to make a living.
