Our shop is located in Anand Parbat, specifically at Gali Number 10 in Nai Basti. The address is 52/14 A 7 if you are looking for the exact spot. It’s a busy area and we’ve been working here for quite some time now. We handle a lot of engineering work, mostly involving lathes and some welding when it’s needed. The place is usually a bit of a mess with metal shavings on the floor and oil on the benches. We don’t really mind it because that’s just how an engineering shop looks. It’s just a few of us here. We start early in the morning, usually around nine, and we don’t leave until the last job is done. Sometimes we stay late if a customer is in a hurry. The power goes out once in a while, so we just sit outside on the stools and talk to the neighbors. We aren’t some big company with a fancy office. It’s just a small workshop where we do what we know. We get orders for small parts and sometimes bigger repairs. It’s noisy and hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any slogans or anything like that. We just do the work, take the payment, and go home to our families at night. It’s a simple life in this part of Delhi.
