Accurate Engineers

Accurate Engineers is based in Anand Parbat, specifically at Gali No 6 A 40. This whole area is full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and the hum of big machines. Our workshop is no different. We have a couple of lathe machines that have been with us for years. They are greasy and loud, but they get the job done. The floor is always covered in metal shavings and drops of oil, no matter how much we sweep. We wear heavy boots and clothes that we don't mind getting ruined. It’s a hot environment, especially in the summer months when the tin roof picks up all the heat. We don't have an office staff; it’s just the guys on the floor making parts and fixing machinery. We spend a lot of time measuring things with calipers and making sure the cuts are right. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. Our hands are usually stained black from the grease by lunch time. We eat our food sitting on wooden crates near the entrance. People bring us blueprints or old parts that need copying, and we just figure it out. There’s no fancy software here, just experience and some old-fashioned tools. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in this gali for a long time and everyone around here knows our face. We just keep our heads down and handle the workload as it comes in.
