Banta Engineers

Banta Engineers is tucked away in Gali No 9 at N-1/A in Anand Parbat. This part of the city is full of workshops and small factories, and ours is just one of them. We do various types of engineering and mechanical work. There is always the sound of metal being cut or machines humming in the background. It’s not the cleanest place to work, with iron shavings and oil around, but that’s how a workshop should be. We take on jobs that involve making parts or repairing machinery for other local businesses. My father started this kind of work, and we just kept it going here. The space is a bit tight with all the lathes and drills we have squeezed in. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one tool. We don't have a sales team or an office with air conditioning. We just have our workspace and our experience. People come to us when they have a technical problem that needs a practical solution. Anand Parbat is a tough area with narrow lanes, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We just make it work. Every day brings a different kind of job. One day we are welding and the next we are turning parts on a machine. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We just focus on the task at hand.
