S.S.Eng.Works

If you’ve ever been to Pahar Ganj in New Delhi, you know it’s one of the most crowded and energetic places in the city. S.S.Eng.Works is right in the thick of it at C-376 in Chinyot Basty, Multani Dhanda. Our shop is in one of those narrow streets where something is always happening. It’s loud, it’s cramped, and there is a lot of history in these old walls. We do engineering work in a space that has seen better days, but the machines inside work just fine. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning. We have a shop floor where we get our hands dirty. Being in the 110055 area means we are close to everything, which is good for getting materials but bad for peace and quiet. We've been here for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. Our work isn't about being pretty; it’s about being functional. We take on the small jobs and the big ones without much fuss. You might find us sitting on a stool outside the shop having a smoke or a tea when things quiet down for a minute. That doesn't happen often though. Pahar Ganj never really sleeps, and neither do we when there is a deadline. It’s a gritty, real way to run a business, and we wouldn't know how to do it any other way.
