Ravi Engineering Works

We have been working out of Street No.5 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area for quite a while now. Our shop is at 18/34-35. Because it is a busy industrial zone, there is always a lot of noise from the other workshops around us. Mostly, we handle metal work and fixing things that people bring to our door. It is often dusty and there is usually some grease on our hands, but that is just part of the job. Running the place is a small team consisting of my brother, me, and a couple of helpers. Some days we are busy with welding projects, while on other days we are just standing at the lathe. Fancy equipment is not something we have, and we definitely do not have a polished showroom. It is just a practical space where we work with our hands. If something is broken, we take a look and see if we can get it running again. Finding the right parts for older machines can be difficult sometimes, but we usually figure something out. The industrial area stays loud and crowded, but we are used to it by now. People in the neighborhood know where to find us. Just keeping our heads down and trying to finish the work on time is our main goal. Old tools are what we use mostly because they are reliable. There is no reason to change things that still work fine. Around 7 in the evening, we usually close up the big blue door.
