J S Engineering Works

J S Engineering Works is situated at 16 Anand Parbat, Gali No 6. It’s a small engineering unit where we focus on fabrication and various metal-related projects. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to be very careful about how we organize our tools and the raw materials we keep in stock. There’s usually a lot of welding going on, so you’ll see the bright flashes of the torches throughout the day. We have a few old machines that we’ve maintained ourselves over the years. They are reliable and do exactly what we need them to do. The atmosphere in Gali No 6 is always energetic. There are always people moving around and deliveries being made. We don't have a front desk or a secretary. If you want to talk to us, you just walk right into the middle of the shop. We’ve been here in Anand Parbat for a long time and have seen many other workshops come and go. We’ve managed to stay because we just keep our heads down and focus on the work. It’s often very hot inside, and the noise of the machines can be a bit much for some people, but we find it comfortable. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just cut, weld, and assemble parts as per the requirements. It’s just honest, practical engineering work that keeps us busy from morning till night.
