Rajni Tomar

I’m Rajni Tomar and you can find me at 385 Tis Hazari Main Road. Being right on the main road means there’s never a moment of silence. The traffic is always moving and the horns are constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. My office is a small room on the ground floor. It’s convenient for people because they don’t have to search through the big court buildings. I’ve got a heavy wooden door that stays open most of the day to let some air in. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. I spend most of my time typing up documents and sorting through old records. My computer is a bit slow and the keyboard has a couple of sticky keys that drive me crazy sometimes. I have a small shelf with some law books and a few personal things like a small plant that I keep forgetting to water. It looks a bit sad now. People walk in off the street with all sorts of questions. I do what I can to help them out. It’s a very simple operation here. I don’t have a secretary, so I handle the mail and the cleaning myself. It’s a lot of little jobs that keep me busy from nine to five.
