Manjeet Chappal Store

Manjeet Chappal Store is tucked away down in Gali No.15 in the Beadon Pura area of Karol Bagh. We are right off the main Ajmal Khan Road, which is always totally full of shoppers and loud noise. Our shop is dedicated to all different kinds of footwear, mostly simple and practical stuff for daily use around the house or street. We have boxes of slippers and shoes stacked all the way up to the ceiling because the shop space is quite narrow and long. It is a typical Karol Bagh style of shop where every single inch of the wall is used for some kind of display. We have been working here for many years now and we have seen this market change quite a bit over time. People come to see us when they want something comfortable that does not cost them a fortune. Sometimes the lane outside gets very crowded with delivery carts and people, so you really have to watch your step when you are getting here. We do not have any air conditioning or fancy leather chairs, just a couple of simple stools for people to sit on and try things on their feet. It is a very honest living and we truly enjoy talking to all the different people who wander into our little alley. The lighting is just a few old tubes on the ceiling but it is enough to see the styles clearly.
