Papneja Holdall Factory

Down here at 6425 Nabi Karim, we’ve got our small factory setup. It’s a place filled with the sound of sewing machines and the heavy scent of canvas and leather. We’ve been making holdalls and bags here for a long time. The space is a bit cramped because we have rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and stacks of finished bags waiting for the trucks. It’s not a polished environment. There are threads on the floor and scraps of material everywhere. We work hard to make sure the stitching is strong because these bags are meant to be used for heavy carrying. Our workers have been with us for years, and we all just get on with the job. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them instead of sewing, which is just part of the daily routine. Nabi Karim is a busy place, and there’s always something going on outside our door. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a while and people know where to find us. We take our time with the work, making sure each holdall is put together properly. It’s a simple life, focused on production and making sure the daily targets are met before we head home in the evening. There is always a new pile of fabric waiting for us the next morning when we open up.
