Orient Export

Orient Export is located over at 4839/24 on Ansari Road. Daryaganj is a busy area and this road is always packed with vehicles and people heading to different offices. We spend most of our time here managing the daily tasks that come with running a place like this. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure boxes are where they need to be. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space with desks and some storage. We've been in this spot for some time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some shops have closed and new ones have opened, but Ansari Road stays busy. There is always a lot of shouting from the rickshaw drivers outside and the smell of street food nearby. We usually have our lunch at the desks or step out for a minute if it's quiet. Working in Daryaganj means you get used to the crowds and the tight spaces. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Dealing with shipments and checking lists takes up the bulk of the hours. It can get a bit tiring when the heat is bad, but we keep the fans going and get on with it. If you find yourself near 4839/24, that is us. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day. We are usually here until the sun goes down and it is time to lock up.
