Anushka Arts

Chuna Mandi in Pahar Ganj is a place where you really have to watch where you are walking. It is crowded and full of life, and that is where you will find us at Anushka Arts. We are on the first floor of building 2205 on Street Number 4. Getting up here means navigating through the narrow lanes and then climbing a set of stairs that are a bit steep. Once you are inside, it is a lot calmer than the street outside, though you can still hear the honking and the shouting from the market below. Our workspace is packed with materials. We use every inch of the room because space is hard to come by in Pahar Ganj. There are stacks of boxes and tools everywhere you look. We have been here long enough that we know the other shopkeepers on the street and the tea seller who comes by in the morning. Our work is something we take seriously, even if our office looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We spend our hours cutting, measuring, and putting things together. It is a bit dusty, and the lighting isn't always perfect, but it is where we do our best work. People come to us because they know we are right here in the heart of the city, working away in our little corner of Chuna Mandi. It is not a fancy life, but it keeps us busy.
