It’s a practical way to manage our resources. We are not big-city businessmen; we are just people who know about seeds, weather patterns, and the local soil. Our office is basically a room where we keep our ledgers and talk about the harvest. We deal with whatever the season brings us. Sometimes the crops are great, other times we have to work much harder. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or marketing people. Most of what we do is through word of mouth among the local farming families. We’ve all lived in Buldhana for a long time, so we know the challenges of the terrain here. We are just trying to build something that lasts for the next generation. It’s hard work, but it feels right to be doing it together as a group rather than struggling separately.
