Our group, Ankushrao Agro Producer Company Limited, is located at At.C/O. Shri Daulatrao Papat. That is in Umaradkingaon Raja, which is near Umarad. The pin code is 443308. We are just a bunch of people from the village trying to manage our farming work through this company. It is not a big corporate setup or anything like that. We use Daulatrao’s place to meet up and discuss what we are going to do with the harvest. In this part of the region, the soil is what dictates our lives. We have been working the land for a long time and decided that having a formal company might help us out with some of the technical stuff. It is mostly about getting seeds and maybe some equipment that we can all use. We don't have a big staff, just the members who are all local farmers. When the season is busy, you won't find anyone at the office address because everyone is out in the fields from morning until it gets dark. We are just trying to keep the farming tradition going while adapting to the new rules and the market changes.
