Tattvartha Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Shop Number 30 at the ZP Colony in Agashivnagar, Malkapur. We aren't a big corporation; we’re just a group of farmers who wanted to have our own place to do business together. The shop is small, but it’s enough for what we need. We handle all kinds of agricultural produce coming from the fields around Malkapur. Most days, you’ll find some of us there talking to members or sorting through records. We started this because the middleman was taking too much, and we figured we could do it ourselves. It’s been a bit of a steep learning curve for everyone. We’ve had to learn about accounting and transport on the fly. Some of the older farmers were skeptical at first, but they’ve seen how we work. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sound like something we aren't. We are just local people trying to earn a decent living from the land. The ZP Colony is a busy area, so there’s always something going on nearby. We like being right in the middle of things. It makes it easier for people to drop by and chat. Whether it’s about the price of grain or just the local news, there’s always a conversation happening in the shop. We take things one day at a time and try to keep our feet on the ground.
