Our company is called Shri Navnath Farmer Producer Companylimited, and you can find us in Mohidepur. That’s near the Post Palashi area in Jalgaon Jamod. We are just a bunch of regular farmers from this corner of the world. Most of us have small plots of land where we grow cotton or grains, depending on what the year looks like. Farming in Jalgaon Jamod has its own set of challenges, especially with the heat. We started this company because we wanted to have a collective voice. When you are just one person with a few bags of grain, nobody listens to you. But when we come together as Shri Navnath, it’s a different story. Our base in Mohidepur is a simple setup. It’s where we store some of our supplies and keep our books. We spend most of our time out in the sun, so the office is usually empty until someone needs to sign a paper or check a price. We aren’t trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to make enough to keep our farms going and maybe improve things a little bit for the next generation. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a new idea works, and sometimes it doesn't. We just keep moving forward, one season at a time, staying rooted in the village where we were born. It is tough but we help each other out daily.
