We are based at House Number 245 in Ambhoda. That’s in the Buldhana district. The name we chose is Yoddha Shetkari Farmer Producer Company Limited because it felt right for the farmers who work here. Buldhana is a place where you have to work hard every day to get anything out of the ground. We aren't some big corporate entity from the city with lots of money. We are just local people from Ambhoda who decided to work together to make things easier. The house is where we meet and keep our records. It’s a simple village life. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in the office space. Just some chairs and a wooden table where we discuss the crops and the rain. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know how it goes. People in the 443001 area are all mostly doing the same thing. We just wanted to have a collective name so we could handle the selling and buying better. It’s not about being the biggest; it’s just about getting the work done. You can find us easily if you ask for house 245 in the village. There is usually someone around to talk to, even if it's just about the weather. We deal with the day-to-day problems that come with farming in Maharashtra. Sometimes the weather is good, sometimes it isn't. We just take it as it comes. It's a plain way of living and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Just regular farmers.
