Vsb Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of the MIDC area in Malkapur. It’s at Pap-1, which is a bit of a dusty spot but it works for what we do. Even though we are in the industrial zone, our hearts are still in the rural parts of Buldhana. It is a strange mix, being near factories but focusing on what the earth gives us. We have been working together to see how we can get better prices for our grain and cotton. Malkapur is a major hub for us, and being here makes it easier to move things around. We are just a group of farmers who decided that standing together was better than standing alone. There is no big boss here, just a bunch of us trying to figure out the market. Some days it is just about making sure the storage is dry and other days we are arguing about transport costs. Buldhana can be a hard place to farm, so we try to share whatever knowledge we have. It’s not a polished business with a marketing team. It’s more like a group of friends who happen to have a company. We have our fair share of problems, like machines breaking down or prices dropping suddenly, but we just keep moving. If you drop by, expect a lot of talk about rain and soil. We don't have a receptionist, so you might have to wait a bit if we are busy.
