Mera Khurd is where we all live and work. It is a small place, really. We started Vidarbha Gold Farmers Producer Company Limited because it felt like the right thing to do for the folks here in House No. 54. Most of us have been farming for a long time. My father did it, and his father before him. We are just a bunch of neighbors trying to figure out how to get better prices for what we grow. It is hard work, honestly. Some days the weather doesn't help at all, and other days things go okay. We don't have a big office or fancy desks. We just meet up and talk about seeds or who needs help with their harvest. The address is just a house, nothing special. People drop by when they have a question or just want to chat about the crops. We try to help each other out with the paperwork, which is always a headache. It is not like those big companies you see in the city. We are just local farmers from this area of 443201. Most people here know each other anyway. We do our own things, but being in a group makes it a bit easier to handle the market stuff. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we learn as we go. It is just about getting through the season and hoping for a decent yield at the end. That is pretty much all there is to it.
