Our group is called Bhayyasaheb Thakur Farmer Producer Company Limited and we are based out of Gurudeo Nagar. You can find us at Shri Suresh B Sable’s place. It’s right there in the Tq. Tiwasa area. Most of the folks here have known each other for a long time. We aren’t a big corporation with people in offices. Instead, we are just a bunch of local people trying to handle our farming work more efficiently. Being in the Po. Gurudeo Nagar area means we are close to our fields and each other. We spend a lot of time talking about the crops and what needs doing next. Suresh’s place is usually where we meet up to discuss things. It’s not formal. We might sit around and talk for an hour about the rains or the prices we are seeing. Tiwasa is our home and this company is just a way for us to stay organized. Some days are pretty slow and other days we are running around trying to fix things. We don't use any fancy talk here. If something needs to be done, we just go and do it. Working as a producer company helps us stay connected. It is hard work being out there every day but having the group makes it a bit easier. We just want to keep things going for our families and make sure the work gets done right in our own little corner of the world. It is about staying local.
