We are based out of Satyabhan Trymbak Sukhdane’s place over at Gut No 13 in Nandra N Chaigaon. It is a small spot in Mehakar, right here in the Buldhana district. Most of us around here are just trying to figure out how to get better prices for what we grow. Being a Farmer Producer Company means we spend a lot of time talking about seeds and the weather. The office isn't much to look at. It is just a room where we keep our files and meet up when the sun isn't too hot. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to the farm a bit messy, but we manage. People stop by to ask about government schemes or just to have some tea and talk shop. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just the local folks from the village working together. Satyabhan handles a lot of the paperwork which can be a real headache. We started Swayamsfrurti because things were getting hard for individual farmers to handle alone. Now we try to buy things in bulk to save a little bit of money for everyone. It is slow work and sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork, but it is better than doing nothing. The 443202 area is mostly agriculture anyway. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day without too much fuss.
