Sugdeo Agro Producer Company Limited

Our place is at House Number 287 in Dhalsawangi, which is a small spot in the Buldhana area. Sugdeo Agro Producer Company Limited is basically us trying to organize the local agricultural work better. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning. We just use the space we have in the village. It is often dusty outside and the roads aren't the best, but this is where the work is. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers about what they are growing and what problems they are having with the pests or the soil. Buldhana has its own challenges and we are right in the middle of it. We are not some big agency from outside. We live here and we know everyone by their first name. Sometimes we have to travel long distances on old motorbikes to see a field or meet a member. It is tiring but it is just what we do. The office is filled with the smell of grain and the sound of people talking. We don't have a website that looks perfect or a bunch of brochures. Most of our work is done through word of mouth and face-to-face conversations. It is an honest way to live. We just want to make sure that the people in Dhalsawangi have a way to sell what they grow without too much trouble. It is hard work but it feels right.
