Our company, Shravana Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based out of Vasant Borle’s place in Motala. Specifically, we’re located in the Malegaon area within the Motala taluka of Buldhana. It’s a quiet part of Maharashtra where everyone pretty much knows everyone else. We started this producer group to help local farmers get their stuff together. We aren't some big city firm with a huge budget. Our office is just a regular room where we meet and talk about what crops are doing well and what needs to be fixed. It’s very much a grassroots type of thing. We spend a lot of time visiting fields and then coming back here to update the registers.
