Shivshakti Bahu-Uddeshiy Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is located in Buldana, right at Shri Waman Balaji Jadhao’s place in Kolwad. It’s a local setup, very much tied to the community here. We didn't want to go into the big city to start this, so we stayed right where the farmers are. The name is a bit long, but it just means we try to do many different things to help out with agriculture. Some days we are looking at seeds, and other days we are trying to find better ways to transport what’s been grown. It’s a lot of running around and making phone calls to people who might be able to help. We don't have a website with moving pictures or anything like that. It’s just us and our notebooks. Most of the people who come by are our neighbors or people we’ve known for years. We share tea and talk about the soil or the latest government rules that might affect the crops. It feels more like a community project than a big corporation. We have our fair share of problems, like when the power goes out or when the transport trucks are late. But we just keep going. The office is simple, just some desks and chairs in a house. We don't need much more than that to get the daily business sorted out. It’s quiet and steady work for the most part. We like being based in this part of Buldana and wouldn't change it.
