Over here in Armori, specifically in the Gadchiroli district, things move a bit slower. Shionisangam Farmer Producer Company Limited is our group. We are located at Namdeo Guru Darve’s place in Shioni Bk. It’s right after the Shioni post office. Being in Gadchiroli, we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and trees, but farming is still the main thing we do. Our group helps the local people here manage their crops better. It’s a bit of a trek to get to the bigger cities, so we have to rely on each other. The address is 441208 for anyone sending letters. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in our office. It’s mostly just a spot to sit and talk about the rice or whatever else is growing that season. Working with the soil is hard, and the weather here can be unpredictable. We started this company to give ourselves a bit more structure. Namdeo’s place serves as the hub for all our activities. You’ll usually find a few of us there drinking chai and looking over the registers. We aren't trying to sell anyone on big promises. We just live here and work the land like our fathers did. It’s about keeping the Shioni community together and making sure the farming work pays off for everyone involved in the group. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
