We started Santnagari Farmers because we wanted a way to pull our resources together. Shegaon is a special place for many, and we like working the land here. It’s mostly about helping the local farmers get their goods to the market without too much trouble. We spend a lot of time in the fields or at the collection point in Jalamb. It’s not an easy job. There are always worries about the rain or the prices. We try to stick together and help each other out. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a room where we keep our records and meet up. Most of the people involved are just neighbors and friends from the village. We focus on the practical side of farming. We don't have time for big speeches or fancy slogans. It's just about the soil and the harvest. We've been working from this address for a while and it suits us just fine. We don't need much more than that to get through the day.
