Our company is called Rudrika Natural Kisan Krishi Kendra Farmer Producer Company Limited, which is quite a long name for a group of simple farmers. We are located on Raunpar Road in Khojbali Nakib, at Ravindra Maurya’s place. Most of us have been around this area our whole lives. We decided to come together because it’s hard to make a go of it as a small farmer these days. Working as a producer company helps us stay organized and share the tools and knowledge we have. We spend our days out in the Khojbali Nakib area, working the soil and watching the weather. It’s not a fancy operation. There are no shiny offices or big desks. Usually, we are just standing by the road or in the fields talking about what needs to be done. We focus on natural ways of doing things as much as we can, mostly because that’s how it was always done around here before things got so complicated. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of long hours, but we don't mind. We are just local people trying to keep our farms going. Sometimes things go wrong, like a pump breaking or a bad dry spell, but having the group helps us get through it. We aren't here to give you a big sales pitch. We are just showing up every day, doing the work, and trying to make sure our community stays strong and the soil stays healthy.
