Pangarkhed Farmers Producer Company Limited is run out of House Number 61 in our village. We are located in the Mehkar taluka, which is part of Buldhana. If you know the area, you know Pangarkhed is a small place where everyone knows their neighbor's name. We started this company because we wanted a way for the local farmers to stay connected and help each other out. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We just use the house as our main spot for everything. Most days, you’ll find a few of us sitting there talking about the crops in Mehkar or how the markets are doing. Farming is what we do. It’s what our fathers and grandfathers did too. We don’t have any marketing people or big offices with glass windows. It is just the 443301 community trying to do things properly. We handle whatever comes up, from buying seeds to selling what we grow at the end of the season. It's a lot of manual work and then some paperwork at the house when the sun goes down. We kept the name simple because that’s who we are. People come by when they need to discuss the upcoming season. Buldhana has its challenges with the weather, but we manage somehow.
