Down in Chikhli, specifically over in Gajanan Nagar, you will find where we set up Palsidha Agro Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Ward No 16, which is a regular neighborhood where everyone knows everyone else. It is a bit of a trek from the main city centers, but Buldhana is home for us. We started this because the local farmers needed a way to deal with their crops without getting lost in the shuffle of the big traders. Dealing with the land is hard enough without worrying about the paperwork side of things. Our office at Dl/4207 is basically just a room where we keep our records and meet up after the sun goes down or when the work in the fields is done. It gets quite hot here in the summer months, and that affects everything we grow. We do not really have a fancy way of talking about what we do. It is just about the soil and the seeds and trying to make sure everyone gets a fair shake at the end of the day. Some days are slow and others we are running around trying to fix a tractor or get supplies delivered on time. Life moves at its own pace in Chikhli. We are just a bunch of neighbors who decided that working together was better than going it alone. If you pass by Ward 16, you’ll probably see us.
