You can find Omgauri Agricultural Producer Company Limited over at Jagatram Admane’s place in Morhal. That is in the Barshitakli taluka of the Akola district. It is a rural area, so you have to know where you are going to find us. We don't have a fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s just a regular house where we handle the business of the farm. Jagatram is usually around if you need to talk to someone. The atmosphere is very casual. Usually, there are a few pairs of sandals left by the door and the smell of cooking from the kitchen nearby. We sit on the floor or on old chairs and go over what we are going to plant or how the last batch sold. It gets very dusty in Akola during the summer months. You can see the heat shimmering off the road outside. We started this company because the individual farmers were having a hard time on their own. Now we bunch everything together at this location. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We are just neighbors who decided to put our names on some papers to make things official. Most of our time is spent out on the actual land, but this house in Morhal is where the planning happens. We keep the books in a cupboard and try to keep the dust off them as much as we can.
