Takarkheda is where we are based. We are a group of farmers and Matoshree Indutai is the name on the official papers, but mostly people here know us by the work we do at house 261/1. It is not a big office, just a simple place to get things organized. Running an agro business in a small village like this has its ups and downs. Some days we are out in the fields, and other days we are sitting inside trying to figure out the paperwork. We started this because it felt right for the families around here. Growing crops is what we know best. Dealing with the markets and the transport side of things is the part we are still getting used to. You can usually find someone here if you stop by. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the seeds and produce get moved to the right spots. It is dusty work and equipment is always breaking down, but that is just life on a farm. We do not try to make it sound fancy. It is just local people working together so we do not get lost in the shuffle of the bigger city markets. Takarkheda is quiet, and we like it that way. If the rains are good, everyone is happy. If not, we spend time talking about what to do next. It is a basic setup, really.
