Gharegaon Farmer Producer Company Limited

If you walk past the Z P School in Gharegaon, you’ll see house number 246 right there. That is where we set up the Gharegaon Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s a busy spot because of the kids at the school, especially in the mornings and when they leave for the day. You can hear the bell ringing all the way inside. We have been working from here for a while now. It’s just a regular house, really. We didn't want to spend money on a fancy office when we have perfectly good space right here in the village. It makes it easier for the other farmers to stop by and check in on things. We spend a lot of time looking at ledgers and talking about the crops. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to be anything big or special. We just want to get the work done for the people in Gharegaon. It takes a lot of time to organize everyone, and sometimes we get frustrated with all the forms we have to fill out. But having the company based right here near the school means everyone knows where to find us if they have a question or need to sign something. We probably should have painted the front door last year but we got busy with the harvest instead. That's just how things go around here when there is work in the fields and the days go by too fast for us to notice.
