Bhavishyakrishi Farmer Producer Company Limited

The office for Bhavishyakrishi Farmer Producer Company Limited is at House Number 241 in Tanaji Nagar which is over in Buldana. It’s a busy little area and we are right there in the middle of it. The building is just a regular house where we have set up some desks and a few chairs for when members come by to discuss the business. Tanaji Nagar can be quite loud in the afternoons with people moving about and the shops nearby doing their trade. We usually have the door open to let in some air but that also lets in the dust from the street. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking on things and writing down notes in big ledgers that we keep in the cupboard. Buldana has its own way of doing things and we just follow along with the rhythm of the town. There is nothing very special about the way we work, we just show up and do what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on again. It is a very normal place with regular people trying to make things work for the farmers. We don’t use any complicated systems, just the basics like a pen and paper and a phone that rings quite a lot during the peak weeks. It is just how things are at H No 241 for us.
