Abhaya Saloon

We are located at Plot N-5/105 in Irc Village, which is right near the Kalinga Fitness gym. Because of that, we get a lot of the gym guys coming in to get a haircut or a shave after they finish their workout. It is a good little spot in Bhubaneshwar. We have a few old chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a quick trim. The floor is almost always covered in hair because we are constantly busy. We try to sweep it up when we can. It’s more of a place where people come to hang out and talk about what is happening in the village. We have a small radio that plays the local stations all day long. My hands are always moving with the scissors or the clippers. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but people are patient. We don't have any fancy posters or a website. If you need a cut, you just come in and wait your turn. We have been serving the families around here for quite a while now. We keep the mirrors clean and the towels fresh, and that is about it. It is just a regular saloon for the local people. We are happy with how things are and we like seeing the regulars every day.
