You can find us over by Kund Gate on Shivaji Marg in Shahpura, near the Raj Shobha True Value Shoppe. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the location, but most locals know the area. We work on telecom stuff, which usually means a lot of wires and testing equipment. The shop is filled with various gadgets and parts for phones and landlines. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful where we step. There’s usually a pile of old equipment in the corner waiting to be recycled or used for parts. We spend a lot of time on the phone ourselves, trying to coordinate things or talk to suppliers. The walls are a bit bare, and the paint is peeling in a few spots. We’re more focused on the work than how the place looks. Customers come in with all sorts of problems, from broken receivers to confusing bills. We try to help them figure it out without making it too complicated. It’s a lot of sitting at the workbench with a magnifying glass. The street outside is always bustling, especially near the gate. Sometimes the noise makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen how the technology has changed. We just keep doing our thing here at Telecom Service, day in and day out. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way for the most part. It is what it is.
