If you go down to the Paan Sul Choraha on Pur Road, you’ll find our little shop. It’s right near the main intersection, so it gets pretty loud with all the horns and people moving about. We’ve been at Lucky Mobile for a few years now. The space is a bit cramped once you get three or four people inside at once, but we make it work. Most days are spent looking at cracked screens or trying to figure out why a battery isn't holding a charge anymore. It is not glamorous work, but it's what we do. We have some colorful cases hanging on the wall and a few second-hand phones in the display case. People stop by on their way home from work to grab a recharge or ask about a new cable. The chai wallah next door brings us tea twice a day, which is definitely the best part of the afternoon. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. Sometimes the stock is a bit late arriving because of the transport, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We don’t bother with big signs or fancy flashing lights. People know where we are because they’ve been coming here for a long time. It’s a decent spot to be. We just try to get the repairs done so people can get back to their lives.
