Srinath Mobiles

Srinath Mobiles is at Chittorgarh Road 61 A. The shop is right on the main stretch where all the buses go by. It’s a noisy spot but it brings in people. I spend my days behind a glass counter filled with chargers and screen guards. The building at 61 A is a bit old now and the walls could use some fresh paint. I’ve been here for a few years. I sell basic phones and do recharges for the local workers. Many people come in just to ask for directions or to use the shade for a minute. I don’t mind. It’s a friendly place. My brother helps out in the evenings when it gets crowded. We have a small TV that stays on the cricket matches. The floor is just plain cement and I sweep it twice a day because of the road dust. It’s a lot of work keeping things clean. I don't have a big staff, just us. We get our stock from the city every week. Sometimes the shipments are late and customers get annoyed. I just tell them it’s the way things go. I like being on Chittorgarh Road because you see everyone passing through. It feels like you’re in the middle of everything. I close up around eight and head home to my family. It's a simple life and I've got no complaints about it.
