Shivam Mobile

Shivam Mobile is located right near the Bapu Nagar Bus Stand in Luharia, over in the Teh Mandal area. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of people just passing through. They might have dropped their phone while getting off the bus or realized their charger is still at home. We get all sorts of travelers. The shop is small and functional. We have a few stools for people to sit on if they have to wait for a repair. I mostly handle the technical side of things while my friend manages the sales. We have a fridge in the back for cold water, which is a life-saver in the heat. The buses are loud and the air is full of exhaust, but you get used to it after a week. We don’t use any corporate talk here. If we can fix it, we tell you. If we can’t, we tell you that too. We sell a lot of prepaid cards and data packs because people are always running out while they travel. The shop is a bit cluttered with boxes and old parts we keep for spares. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We open up early to catch the first group of commuters. It makes for a long day, but it’s good to be busy. Most of the locals know us by name and stop to say hello even if they don't need anything.
