Mandalgarh is a small place and everyone pretty much knows where everything is. My shop, Sawariya Mobile, is right in the middle of it. I have been here for a good while now. Every morning I open the shutters and sweep the floor before the first customers show up. It is mostly people looking for recharge or maybe a new cover for their phone. I keep a lot of different colored cases in the boxes under the counter. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside and talk. It is a slow life here, but I like it. I see the same faces every day. The old men walk past on their way to the temple and sometimes they stop to ask me how to use their cameras. I don't mind helping them out. My desk is usually covered in small screws and plastic bits because I am always taking something apart. I keep my tools in a blue plastic tray. There is a small radio in the corner that plays songs from the movies. It keeps the silence away when the shop is empty. The walls need a new coat of paint, maybe next year I will get around to it. Right now, I am just focused on keeping the phones working for everyone. I don't have a big sign, just the name written above the door.
