Pop N Top Mobile Shop

Bhopalganj is a crowded place and our shop is right in the middle of all that movement. We have a lot of glass counters filled with different mobile phones and some second-hand ones that people traded in. The walls are mostly covered with those plastic phone cases in every color you can think of. Most of the time we are just sitting here replacing screen guards for people who dropped their phones on the pavement. It’s a delicate job because you have to get all the bubbles out from under the glass. We have a small stool in the corner for customers to sit on while they wait but most people just stand and watch us work. The light inside is very bright so we can see the tiny parts inside the phones when we have to open them up. It gets quite loud outside with the market chatter but we are used to it by now. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to pass the time when it is quiet. Sometimes someone comes in looking for a charger for a very old phone and we have to dig through the boxes in the back to find it. It is just a regular shop where we fix things and sell stuff that helps people stay connected with their families. We don't worry much about being fancy as long as the repairs are done right.
